【摘要】:ResiliencymaybeusedtocontrolthequalityofmanyTRMs.ResiliencymaybeindicativeofaTRMrsquo;abilitytoretainoriginalconfigurationafterexposuretothestresseswhichmaybeexertedduringmanufacture,shipping,andinstallation.Resiliencyisnotgenerallyindicativeoffieldperformance.TheresiliencyofTRMsmayvaryconsiderablydependingonthepressureappliedtothespecimenduringloadingcycles.Tominimizevariation,specificsamplesizeandappliedpressureareindicatedinthistestmethodtoensureallresultsarecomparable.TodeterminetheeffectofdifferentpressureloadingsonthefinalthicknessofTRMs,usethistestmethod.ThistestmethodmaybeusedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofTRMs,butcautionisadvisedsinceinformationonbetween-laboratoryprecisionisincomplete.Comparativetests,inaccordancewith5.4.1maybeadvisable.5.4.1Inacaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingthistestmethodforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimensthatareashomogeneousaspossibleandthatareformedfromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudentrsquo;t-testforunpaireddateandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwobegun.Ifbiasisfound,eitheritscausemustcorrected,orthepurchaserandbefoundandinterpretfuturetestsinsuppliermustagreetothelightoftheknownbias.Note18212;Theusershouldbeawarethatthecompressibilityofthematerials,theirreboundcharacteristics,andthelikewillalsobeaffectedbythethicknessoftheTRMsfollowingthetimewhentheyarerolleduponrollsshippedandstored.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheresiliencyorrecoveryofturfreinforcementmats(TRMs)aftertheyhavebeensubjectedtothreecyclesofloadingat689kPa(100psi)for1min/percycle.1.2ThistestmethoddoesnotprovideresiliencyvaluesforTRMsundervariablenormalcompressivestresses.Thistestmethoddeterminesnominalresiliency.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
